Sarah Brant’s call to massage therapy began early in life. Dealing with crippling headaches for years, the only relief she found was in massage. She believed so strongly in this way of healing and sought to help others who were experiencing similar issues. Sarah has been practicing bodywork since graduating from Southeastern Institute in Charlotte, NC in 2013. She went on to work for Eden Therapy and Massage before opening her own practice, Turning Pointe Massage, in 2016.

Sarah is a retired classically trained ballerina and Black Belt in Tang Soo Do, now combining her passions into educating others on the importance of self-care, body movement, and stretching! She was recommended by a teacher to take a Thai Massage CE class and from her first class with Living Sabai in June of 2019, she knew that she was meant for Thai Massage!  She immediately began taking all of Living Sabai’s courses, falling in love with being a TA, and finally traveling to Chiang Mai, Thailand in January 2023 for the study abroad trip. There she studied at ITM and OmSala. Her favorite part of teaching is watching students fall in love with Thai massage and find a revitalization for their practices.

In her spare time, Sarah enjoys camping with her husband, son, and Australian Shepherd. As a family they love to travel, mountain bike, and listen to live music.

Payment plan available: $100 deposit plus 5 payments of $25.80, paid every four weeks.

Traditional Thai Foot Massage(C802)

with Living Sabai Sarah Brant

Calendar Dec 13, 2026 at 9 am

CE Credits: 7 Hours
NCBTMB Approved Provider #451012-09
Cost: $229 ($274 if registering within 7 days of class)

Fee Includes: Manual & Rosewood Reflexology Stick

In this simple and fun one day course you will learn the theory and practice of Traditional Thai Foot Massage from a Thailand trained instructor. Dating back more than 2000 years, Thai Foot Massage is a comprehensive and easy way to increase overall health, vitality, and relaxation. This modality combines the ancient practice of Reflexology and Thai Massage stimulating reflex points in the foot that correlate to organs in the body and working on “sen” lines to free up energetic blocks. Additionally, the client receives a therapeutic massage to the feet and lower legs to relieve soreness or fatigue. Different from other types of reflexology which can be painful for the client or hard on the therapist, Thai Foot Massage feels great for the client and is easy on the therapist. This is great as a stand-alone treatment or an add-on to your massage.

Please Bring: One set of massage sheets, a small amount of cream or oil, and 1 hand towel. Please wear shorts or pants that can be rolled above the knee so you can fully enjoy receiving.

A lunch break will be taken midday; you may bring your lunch, or eat at one of the many restaurants located nearby.

$265

with Mindy Oldham

Calendar Dec 15, 2026 at 9 am

CE Credits: 7 Hours

Cost: $265.00 ($310 if registering within 7 days of class)

Content: The Synergy Way is designed to help us understand how we perceive and respond dynamically to our environments and how those perceptions and responses manifest in our bodies. Drawing deeply on both theory and practical application, we use the Synergy Way as a method to help clients build awareness of their body-felt experiences and, using that awareness, facilitate the healing process.

Topics to be covered include:

  • Review of current neuroscience research and its application to body work, including brain anatomy, the role of the vagal nerve and how our soft tissue responses parallel those of our central nervous system
  • The bodies physiological adaptive response to injury and trauma,  Discussion of the parallels between the physiological, mental and emotional healing processes
  • How to use this information to help use our bodies as a guide
  • The importance of mindset shifts (for both practitioner and clients) in working with the body

This class is designed for bodyworkers, counselors, trainers and anyone who works with clients in a manner that includes engagement and connection to body felt awareness. Clients who have a history of injury, trauma or difficulty having body awareness can benefit from using this framework to begin to approach their bodies.   At this time, continuing education credit is available for Tennessee LMT’s only; 7 hours.

Advisory: I recommend that practitioners have strong personal support systems in place when attending this class as the topics can resonate deeply with an individual’s personal experience and history, including experiences of injury and trauma. I suggest you intentionally keep evening commitments to those that provide a sense of safety, comfort and restoration. If you have questions or concerns, please contact Mindy Oldham (615-957-7129).

This class will include lecture, self-reflection and group exercises. Please wear comfortable clothes to participate in the exercises. No perfumes or scented products or jeans.

Call Teresa Greene at 615-370-9794 if you have any questions.
