In this three-day course, you will learn how to perform a two-hour traditional Thai Massage plus the key to career longevity and satisfaction. The instructor will share with you the ancient secrets that will enable you to Save Your Hands, Breathe New Life Into Your Practice, and Increase Your Clientele! Upon completion of this course (plus a little home practice) you will be ready to add Thai massage to your menu of services or integrate it into your table routine. Additional you will learn the history and theory of this ancient practice and the Sen (energy) line system of healing. A course manual and FREE DVD is included with your tuition.

What to Wear/Bring: Wear loose or stretchy “yoga” clothes, 3 flat sheets (1 per day), one pillow, a Thai or Shiatsu mat if you have one and materials to take notes. If you do not have a mat, the instructor will have some you can borrow.

Japanese Facial Massage is a unique method that focuses on a blend of the aesthetic and physiological treating the whole client. The treatment goes beyond Swedish massage and concentrates on opening up the acupuncture meridians that energize the face, head and shoulders to achieve a balancing and grounding effect.

The focus is on:

  1. Increasing the flow of oxygen and blood to the facial area, neck and shoulders
  2. Toning/tightening the skin and fascia
  3. Lymphatic drainage and detoxification of skin and organ systems
  4. Better mental alertness, focus and relaxation for the client
  5. Emotional cleansing through ear-acupressure and essential oils
  6. Preventive maintenance for aging and skin blemishes

In this course you will learn:

  1. The causes of skin diseases and aging according to the Chinese Medicine Model
  2. 12 soft-tissue strokes for rejuvenation and prevention of aging
  3. The function of acupressure points, their location and evaluation on the ears, face, head and neck
  4. Special uses of essential oils for the face with special application techniques to the ears
  5. Facial skin-lift Qigong exercises

This therapy is a natural, gentle, non-confrontational way of healing physical and psychological ailments with the combined use of: Tui-Na - Chinese Medical Massage, Energy Touch, Myofascial meridian therapy, muscle energy techniques, Chi Nei Tsang (Internal Organ Massage) and Homeopathy. This one-day seminar is an introduction to the art and science of muscle testing.  You will learn how to test for a variety of neuromuscular dysfunctions and how to correct them quickly and efficiently using techniques available to massage therapists.  Topics will include tests and corrections for dehydration, hypotonicity, dysfunctional movement patterns and emotional stress. This advanced Prenatal Massage course contains much more than common contraindications and safe positioning. You will learn the most common structural changes experienced during pregnancy and perform specific massage techniques that address those structural challenges. We will explore the most recent scientific information regarding the significance of pregnancy and the impact of the Mom’s thoughts, emotions and feelings upon the unborn child and be able to communicate those concepts. You will massage a pregnant Mom during the last day of the class.

This is a hands-on, interactive workshop and there will be plenty of practice time for the massage techniques learned during the class. A manual will be provided. What to Bring:

In this simple and fun one day course you will learn the theory and practice of Traditional Thai Foot Massage from a Thailand trained instructor. Dating back more than 2000 years, Thai Foot Massage is a comprehensive and easy way to increase overall health, vitality, and relaxation. This modality combines the ancient practice of Reflexology and Thai Massage stimulating reflex points in the foot that correlate to organs in the body and working on “sen” lines to free up energetic blocks. Additionally, the client receives a therapeutic massage to the feet and lower legs to relieve soreness or fatigue. Different from other types of reflexology which can be painful for the client or hard on the therapist, Thai Foot Massage feels great for the client and is easy on the therapist. This is great as a stand-alone treatment or an add-on to your massage.
