Sarah Brant’s call to massage therapy began early in life. Dealing with crippling headaches for years, the only relief she found was in massage. She believed so strongly in this way of healing and sought to help others who were experiencing similar issues. Sarah has been practicing bodywork since graduating from Southeastern Institute in Charlotte, NC in 2013. She went on to work for Eden Therapy and Massage before opening her own practice, Turning Pointe Massage, in 2016.
Sarah is a retired classically trained ballerina and Black Belt in Tang Soo Do, now combining her passions into educating others on the importance of self-care, body movement, and stretching! She was recommended by a teacher to take a Thai Massage CE class and from her first class with Living Sabai in June of 2019, she knew that she was meant for Thai Massage! She immediately began taking all of Living Sabai’s courses, falling in love with being a TA, and finally traveling to Chiang Mai, Thailand in January 2023 for the study abroad trip. There she studied at ITM and OmSala. Her favorite part of teaching is watching students fall in love with Thai massage and find a revitalization for their practices.
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys camping with her husband, son, and Australian Shepherd. As a family they love to travel, mountain bike, and listen to live music.
Traditional Thai Foot Massage(C802)
with Living Sabai Sarah Brant
CE Credits: 7 Hours
NCBTMB Approved Provider #451012-09
Cost: $229 ($274 if registering within 7 days of class)
Fee Includes: Manual & Rosewood Reflexology Stick
In this simple and fun one day course you will learn the theory and practice of Traditional Thai Foot Massage from a Thailand trained instructor. Dating back more than 2000 years, Thai Foot Massage is a comprehensive and easy way to increase overall health, vitality, and relaxation. This modality combines the ancient practice of Reflexology and Thai Massage stimulating reflex points in the foot that correlate to organs in the body and working on “sen” lines to free up energetic blocks. Additionally, the client receives a therapeutic massage to the feet and lower legs to relieve soreness or fatigue. Different from other types of reflexology which can be painful for the client or hard on the therapist, Thai Foot Massage feels great for the client and is easy on the therapist. This is great as a stand-alone treatment or an add-on to your massage.
Please Bring: One set of massage sheets, a small amount of cream or oil, and 1 hand towel. Please wear shorts or pants that can be rolled above the knee so you can fully enjoy receiving.
A lunch break will be taken midday; you may bring your lunch, or eat at one of the many restaurants located nearby.
