$440

with Wolfgang Luckmann

Calendar May 17, 2025 at 8:30 am

CE Credits: 17 Hours

NCBTMB Approved Provider #279778-00

Cost: $440 ($485 if registering within 7 days of class)

Lomi-Lomi means “The Dance of Massage and to break up into small pieces”

Purpose of the Workshop:

  • To Revive the body
  • To Move the blood and Lymph
  • To Open spasms
  • To Remove waste material from muscle
  • To Facilitate myofascial release
  • To Revitalize the face and head
  • To Save your hands
  • To Remove emotional toxicity with oils and compassionate care

This is a 1500 year old technique that aims at releasing all physical and emotional congestion in the body, with a full body massage. It is known in Hawaii as the “Dance of Massage” because of its long flowing style and continuous rhythm and beat accompanied by selected tribal music. The therapist and client will become entranced in a spiritual state. You will learn how to transform a loving touch into techniques for healing. The basis for Lomi-Lomi is an integration of Mind-Body-Soul in a ritual of transformation and inspiration. The inspiration is from the Huna or “Pathway of Life”.

You will learn:

  1. Some 12 strokes for a full body massage addressing long, hardened, bulky muscles and cellulite
  2. Breathing techniques and meditation to conserve your energy and build stamina
  3. Circular, spiraling and forearm techniques as well as kneading thumb techniques
  4. How to address the diaphragm, the seat of emotions
  5. Stretch techniques for upper and lower limbs
  6. The use of Aromatherapy essential oils on ear points and the body to enhance the massage
  7. Stretch and strengthening exercises for the massage therapist
  8. Self-care for the massage therapist and client

Wolfgang asks every student to bring a hand towel, 2 Sets of Sheets, your own lubrication, suggested oils (Rosemary, Sandalwood, Lavender, Peppermint, Frankincense, Patchouli and blends you use) and an open mind. It is NOT absolutely necessary to bring the oils because the instructor will bring his.

CE Credits: 22 Hours  Prerequisites - Any in-person Level 1 ACE workshop from the list below:

  • ACE Massage Cupping Level 1
  • ACE Massage Cupping Two-Day & Medicupping Two-Day
  • MediCupping Level 1
  • Lymphatic Balancing & ACE Massage Cupping Intensive

NCBTMB Approved Provider # 312464

Cost: $570 (must register by prior to August 4, 2025)

Students must provide their own cups and the M600 Machine.

This three-day workshop will build on the foundation forged by the Level 1 workshops that we have been offering nationally since 2001. While Level 1 ACE Massage Cupping and MediCupping workshops focus on learning the techniques, movements, applications, and safety, Level 2 will take this knowledge and build upon it to truly position the practitioner “within the treatment cup” along with integrating a more intense scrutiny of hydration issues in the “body of water”.

ACE VacuTherapies Level 2 serves as a higher-level course for both ACE Massage Cupping and MediCupping.

The Level 2 workshop is a honing of assessment skills using specific evaluation criteria, along with ACE VacuTherapies techniques and concepts to create individual protocols for clients with acute and chronic conditions. Special attention is dedicated to the review of bio-magnetic theory and applications, along with a review of the lymphatic system to address the intensive tissue dredging that characterizes vacuum therapy.

Participants may choose to present a case synopsis or client study devoted to a particular health imbalance or condition.

Case Synopsis Suggestions:

  1. SOAP Notes
  2. Treatment Diagrams
  3. Client Comments and Testimonials
  4. Photographic Documentation
  5. Practitioner Observation
  6. Client Feedback Notes

This workshop takes vacuum therapy to the next level and is fundamental for creating the “thinking therapist” that has the observational skills to effectively address almost any condition or application.

Easily help clients of all ages with the power of ACE VacuTherapies. Build your practice quickly with medical referrals based on dramatic results!

This course is taught by Martha Graham PTA, LMT she can be reached at:   upliftbodyworks@gmail.com or 423-310-4894

This three-day workshop begins at 8:00 am and concludes 4:30 pm each day.  Please arrive 15 minutes prior to class each day.  Successful completion earns 22 NCBTMB CE credits. Graduates of this program become Certified ACE Massage Cupping™ or MediCupping™  Practitioners (CAMCPs) and are listed on the national website with contact information.  A wall certificate is issued upon completion of the workshop.

Please be prompt and dress comfortably.  We suggest bringing a sweater or light jacket for warmth and water for hydration.  Lunch will be determined each day by the presenter and will be one hour long.

What to Expect from Class

Expect the unexpected!  Each student responds to this modality based on their condition at the time.  There is a high level of hands-on work, much more ACE Massage Cupping™ or MediCupping™ bodywork than would normally be done for a client.  Keeping warm and adequate hydration assists any processes that may develop.  Participants who have not received regular bodywork may experience remarkable changes.  These experiences are necessary for the practitioner to fully understand the complex effects of this technique.

Reflexology and Acupressure are 5000 year-old techniques which were introduced to the United States in the early 1900’s.  They are based in the connection of the reflex zones and acupressure points in the hands and feet which are linked to every organ, tissue, gland, and part of the body through energy or qi, which travels through zones and channels.  This course will also employ aromatherapy essential oils to enhance the effects of the work.

 Objective:

  1. Learn the location and function of reflex zones and acupressure points in the hand and feet
  2. Relate each zone and meridian to the physiological systems of the body and how energy medicine enhances their function
  3. You will learn the function and value of essential oils
  4. You will learn how to recognize important pathologies in the feet through special palpation
  5. Perform a comprehensive treatment using essential oils, reflexology and acupressure

Reflexology and Aromatherapy can be used in all chronic or difficult myofascial and viral conditions.  Both zone and acupressure points are manipulated with the oils in techniques which come from Tibetan medicine.  The combination of Eastern and Western techniques is deeper and more revitalizing than conventional Western reflexology.

What to Bring: Wear shorts/loose comfortable clothes. Bring materials to take notes, 1 set of sheets per day/face cradle cover/blanket, 2 hand towels, 2 standard size pillows and your favorite lubrication.  If you use essential oils and wish to bring them with you, please feel free.  Massage tables will be provided.

A lunch break will be taken midday. You may bring your lunch, or eat at one of the many restaurants located nearby.

Muscle Melting: Non-Force Deep Tissue Massage(C875)

Cost: $250 ($295 if registering within 7 days of class)

To many people, Deep Tissue Massage means hard, aggressive, painful techniques meant to force the muscle to release tension. This type of work can leave the client with increased pain and the therapist burned out with stressed hands and joints. The latest anatomy research and development of advanced techniques show us the way to work in cooperation with the nervous system, the muscle proprioceptors, and the lymphatic system, engaging the body’s own healing mechanisms in order to release muscle tension and pain more thoroughly, deeply, and gently.

This class will teach the therapist to identify and flush inflammation out of the muscles in preparation for deep work. Slow, sinking strokes performed with soft hands and optimal body alignment will calm the nervous system and lower proprioceptive activity. Effective, specific routines of non-force, deep tissue massage for the low back & hips, upper back & rotator cuff, and neck will be demonstrated and practiced.

What to Bring:  Bring a set of sheets/blanket, face cradle cover, lubrication, hand towel, blanket, wear comfortable clothes and bring materials to take notes. Massage tables are provided. A lunch break will be taken midday. You may bring your lunch, or eat at one of the many restaurants located nearby.
