Cumberland Institute - Continuing Education Division

CE Credits: 42 Hours - This is clothed/unclothed bodywork class which is part of Cumberland's Core program and will have students and lmt's in the class.  This class meets once a week (every Wednesday) for 10 weeks.

For class completion, all students must do Practicum assignments, quizzes, and the final exam.

Cost: $1040 ($1085 if registering within 7 days of class)

Course:  A combination lecture and hands-on introduction to meridian theory and practical application of acupressure.  The primary focus is teaching therapists to utilize acupressure as an integrative, adjunct modality in their massage practice. Students will be instructed in point location, both static and active acupressure skills, and a blended ‘Acumassage” technique developed by Steve Sommers, LMFT, LMT

What to Bring to Each Class:  Bring a set of sheets/blanket, face cradle cover, lubrication, wear comfortable clothes and bring materials to take notes. Massage tables are provided.
